Michael D. Ratner is a 25-year-old writer, director, and producer based out of Los Angeles. He founded One Big Ball Pictures in 2010 while he was a student at the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in Film and minored in English. Ratner has been hired to create content for companies including Relativity Media, The Weinstein Company, Dimension Films, AMC Networks, and HOT 97.

Ratner's film 'The 30 Year Old Bris' (writer, director, producer) was an official selection of the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival. Soon after, Ratner took home three New York Emmy Awards for his directing work on “The Lineup: Sports Movies” in the categories of “Entertainment: Program/Special”, “Sports: Interview/Discussion” and “Sports: One-Time Special”. Ratner also produced the music video for Puff Daddy’s “I Want the Love” as well as several viral music videos for New York radio station Hot 97.

In May of 2014, Ratner graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a Masters of Fine Arts in film directing, writing, and producing.
