Michael D. Ratner is a 24-year-old writer, director, and producer based out of New York. He founded One Big Ball Pictures in 2010 while he was a student at the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in Film and minored in English. Ratner has been hired to create content for companies including Relativity Media, The Weinstein Company, Dimension Films, AMC Networks, and HOT 97.

Ratner's film 'The 30 Year Old Bris' (writer, director, producer) is an official selection of the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival. In the spring of 2012, his work was featured at the South by Southwest Film Festival and his credits include writing for and directing an eclectic mix of talent ranging from Chris Elliott, Gary Busey, John McEnroe, David Hasselhoff, David Koechner, Katrina Bowden, Donnell Rawlings, and Darryl McDaniels of RUN DMC, among others.  He most recently directed, executive produced, and co-created his first network pilot in the fall of 2013.

Ratner is currently pursuing his Masters of Fine Arts in film directing, writing, and producing at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
